Demo against Lansley – 15th June – Olympia, London

As private care home company Southern Cross annouce 3000 job losses to save their business it serves as a stark warning for the futrure of the NHS.

Andrew Lansley, Secretary of State for Health will be giving the keynote address at ‘Commisioning 2011′ a two day event at Olympia in London on the 15th June.  The strapline for the event is ‘ The future of UK Health Care’

A demo has been called by Health Worker Network, Keep Our NHS Public and Right to Work.  all organsiations are opposed to the further fragmentation and privatisation of the NHS and think the NHS should be funded from taxation and free at the point of use. A public service for the people and accountable to the people.

    Wish I could be there to help with the demolition hopefully of this man and his terrible plans but have to work. Good luck. My sons life is dependent on the Brompton> Its an amazing place and should not be shut.
