March against the Tories and the Lib Dems

Right to Work has initiated 2 major demonstrations during the party conference season in the Autumn:

March against the Tories, 2nd October, Manchester

Last year 7,000 people joined the Right to Work initiated demonstration at the Tory conference in Birmingham. this year many more are expected. The North West TUC is supporting the demonstration and at UNISON conference delegates voted for a motion that called for the TUC to call a march at the Tory Conference.

March against the Lib Dems, 18th September, Birmingham

Right to Work has also initiated a demonstration at the Lib Dem conference. This march is supported by the Midlands TUC and anti cuts groups across the Midlands.

    March…and OCCUPY – BLOCKADE. Marches are not enough. Politicians can live with Marches. We need to be a thorn, and disruptive to the system. We should boycott right-wing media. Refuse to watch TV. We need to fill the prisons with protesters. We need to bring this nasty damn right-wing country to a standstill.
