A mass meeting of Barnsley and Rawmarsh Stagecoach bus drivers overwhelmingly voted to reject management’s latest offer on wages. Drivers
were angered that Stagecoach refused to agree to pay the increase back to June 1st 2011, the settlement date. Management said that they had spent the back pay on financing the scabbing operation they have organised each strike day. The Unite branch voted to step up their action with a new round of strikes on 4th, 6th, 8th and 10th of February.
