Campaigners in Haringey have called a march against Michael Gove’s attempt to force Primary Schools that he describes as ‘underperforming’ to
become academies.
Parents, teachers and governors held a 600 strong public meeting in Downhills school last week to protest against the proposal to force their school to become an academy. David Lammy MP is backing the campaign.
