March: St Thomas’s Hospital, SE1 from 12 noon
Rally: Methodist Central Hall, SW1 from 1pm
Called by UNITE the Union
The government wants to force you to work longer, pay more and get less when you retire. The dispute has been caused by the attacks on your pensions but the fight is much wider.
The NHS break up and cuts, defence cuts, pay cuts and now the threat to regional pay are all part of this government’s war on the nation’s public services.
NHS and defence workers say NO WAY!
Unite members, with colleague unions across the public sector, are taking strike action on 10 May to send a message to government that ‘enough is enough’.
Support your union and your colleagues by:
•Joining the march from St Thomas’ Hospital, Westminster Bridge Road, SE1 from 12 noon.
•Taking part in the rally at Methodist Central Hall, Westminster, SW1.
Speakers from 1pm until 2.30pm, including Unite general secretary Len McCluskey, assistant general secretary Gail Cartmail, and Unite members from across London, fellow trade unionists from the PCS and UCU, plus Owen Jones of the Independent.
Enough is enough!
