On 25 June 2012 PCS members working in Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs (HMRC) took a day of industrial action as the start of a campaign to defend jobs, pay and to fight against privatisation. David Cameron, despite saying tax avoidance is ‘morally wrong’, is still presiding over a further 10,000 job losses in HMRC, making it harder to address tax avoidance and perform all the other services HMRC should provide.
