Strikers at Remploy factories in Chesterfield and Springburn have sent a clear message to potential buyers of the plants – Hands off our jobs and our pensions.
Reps at the plants have described their frustration at the buck passing taking place between Remploy bosses and the DWP in terms of gaining guarantees around these workers futures.
This is yet another kick in the teeth for disabled workers at Remploy.
Twenty-five factories have already closed and 27 have a very uncertain future.
Pete Murray, from Union News, has produced this great video and report from the picket-lines.
